STEMEd awarded a Phase 1 Seed Fund Grant
When kids start looking up to great scientists, engineers and doctors like they do to rock stars, star athletes and mega celebrities, the world will undergo a rapid positive transformation like never before seen.
STEMEd's primary mission is to ignite the student's interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with the hope that more students seek STEM careers in the future.
Students are taught the design, build, launch and test of small satellites for low-earth-orbit flight.
Students learn how to write script-based instructions to command the satellite to change its attitude, snap photographs and video snippets of the ground and download the images and videos into the School's Satellite Control Room.
